We all struggle with behaviors, wounds, addictions, or other problems that we wish we could get rid of. As the Bible says, we are all sinners and fall short. But the Bible also promises healing in James 5:16, forgiveness in 1 John 1:9 and compassion in Proverbs 28:13.
Recovery at Valley Real Life is a place where anyone that is struggling with hurts, unwanted habits, addictions, or compulsive behaviors can find help. We are committed to helping those in need through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and through sound biblical recovery processes and relationships.
Our primary recovery ministry at Valley Real Life is Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery is held Monday nights at Valley Real Life located at 1831 S Barker Rd., Greenacres, WA 99016
Dinner @ 6-7 p.m. / A time to fellowship with other people in recovery from various hurts, habits and hang-ups. Suggested donation is $3/adult and $1/child.
Worship & Celebrate Recovery Program @ 7-8 p.m. / This time is spent worshiping and praising our Lord through music, singing and prayer. On alternating weeks we have a “mini” teaching on a recovery topic or personal testimony of the amazing work God is doing in someone’s life.
Open Share Small Groups @ 8-9 p.m. / Here in gender specific small groups you can share your thoughts about the topic, your testimony, or the daily struggles you may be having. This IS NOT a time to offer advice or attempt to “fix” others, but to provide a safe and loving environment for everybody to share.
Dessert / Fellowship @ 9-9:30 p.m.

Who is Celebrate Recovery for?
Anyone in the community who knows there must be something better in life can find hope and transformation in Celebrate Recovery!
Have you been Abandoned? Abused? Neglected? Do you feel trapped? Struggling with compulsive behavior? Tired of hiding, living with a shameful secret, or being addicted to someone or something?
Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to talk about it.
How does Celebrate Recovery work?
At Celebrate Recovery, we put our trust in the only true Higher Power, who demonstrated His love for us as the real-life man, Jesus Christ. We use and teach the principles in the Bible, His written message to us.
We learn to love and be loved--for who we really are, regardless of what we've done. We get real and start genuine friendships with people who have been there and done that... and understand where we're coming from.
We have dinner together, celebrate with music, hear a lesson or personal story, and divide into small groups for sharing.
What About my Kids?
Valley Real Life’s Celebrate Recovery includes a children’s program on Monday nights called Celebration Station.
Celebration Station is a program designed to equip children (Kindergarten to 5th grade), who have parents participating in Celebrate Recovery, with coping techniques, strategies, and values to help them not repeat their parent’s hurts, habits, or hang-ups.
If you are tired and ready for a change, won't you join us and celebrate your recovery as well?

These are just some of the issues people face in our modern society, both in the church and out.
By working the Christ-centered steps and applying their biblical principles found in the Beatitudes, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
If you face any of these or similar issues, Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to learn and grow.
